Indian healthcare is growing fast. Most of the value is going to large chains and the capital behind them. The doctors who run Hospitals and Clinics do the work, carry the risk, and end up with a smaller share than they should. We started Navig Partners to change that in the part of the market we understand.

India will spend more on healthcare in the next twenty years than it has in the last fifty. Hospitals and Clinics will be built, bought, merged and scaled. Someone will own the value that gets created.
Right now most of it goes to whoever brought the capital. A doctor builds a good practice over fifteen years and ends up with a salary and a lease, while the return goes to a chain or a fund that arrived late and paid for the last leg.
We think that is the wrong way round. The person doing the clinical work, carrying the risk and holding the reputation should own a real share of the outcome.
We have watched good doctors sell too early, at the wrong price, because nobody told them what their business was worth or how to get it ready. We have watched others stay small for a decade because a bank wanted property they did not have. Both are avoidable.
We bring the capital, and we make sure the clinician keeps a share of what it builds.

We work with Hospitals up to 100 beds, single-specialty Clinics, day-care centres and diagnostics. We also look at select medtech and healthtech, though that is a smaller part of what we do.
Structure, books, licences, valuation and reporting. The work that makes a business one an investor can assess.
Debt, equity, equipment finance, claims receivables or government schemes. Matched to what the business actually needs.
We put in capital and operational work, take a minority stake, and are repaid from the growth we help create.
Prepare the business for sale, find the right buyer, run the process. Chains, PE platforms, or another doctor.
A doctor who builds a business should hold equity in it, not only a salary. We structure deals so that stays true, whether the money comes as debt, growth capital or a sale.
Money can fund a second location without deciding how medicine is practised. Clinical decisions, patient care and clinical hiring stay with the doctor. We put that in writing.
Anyone can introduce a business to an investor. The difference is made months earlier, in the structuring, the books and the diligence.
We grow a business by bringing it more patients and running it better. Never by asking a doctor to do more to each one. This one is not negotiable.
Three disciplines that have to sit together for this to work. Running clinical businesses, valuing and structuring them, and getting the financial and regulatory base right.
Spent his career on the operating side of Indian healthcare. How Hospitals and Clinics make money, where they leak it, and why good ones stall. Leads provider relationships and the growth partnerships.
A clinician who moved into healthcare investing. Reads a P&L and a patient register with equal fluency. Leads valuation, diligence and the investor side of the business.
Handles the base everything else sits on. Taking a business from informal accounts to something an investor can rely on, and keeping every transaction on the right side of the line.
We bring in legal counsel, registered valuers and healthcare regulatory specialists on every transaction. We are deliberate about what we do ourselves and what belongs with someone qualified to do it.
Whether you run a Hospital or Clinic, want to invest, or just think we are looking at this the right way, we would like to hear from you.
